Description

Some of our homeschool co-op families are preparing to leave Alaska for vacations to the lower 48, so I am creating take home flyers and supply kits in order that they may continue some of our liturgical living activities if they so choose.

On October 4th, the Lutheran Church commemorates St. Francis of Assisi. This flyer includes a brief bio of his life, symbols often associated with him, a few activities in which to celebrate him, and a Blessing of Animals rite. The feast day of St. Francis of Assisi is one of the few days in the Church’s year where pets and animals are invited to the church to be blessed!
